Directors ask Marvel fans not to spoil ‘Avengers: Endgame’

“Remember, Thanos still demands you silence.”

Directors Joe and Anthony Russo issued a plea to Marvel fans on Tuesday, urging them not to spoil “Avengers: Endgame.”

“Please know that the two of us, along with everyone involved…have worked tirelessly for the last three years with the sole intention of delivering a surprising and emotionally powerful conclusion to the Infinity Saga,” the brothers wrote in a public letter, which they posted on social media.

“Because so many of you have invested your time, your hearts, and your souls into these stories, we’re once again asking for your help,” the pair said. “When you see Endgame in the coming weeks, please don’t spoil it for others, the same way you wouldn’t want it spoiled for you.”

Referring to Marvel moviegoers as the “greatest fans in the world,” the Russo brothers noted how long they’d been waiting to see this final chapter.
